College: Butler University

Some obvious thoughts on why Butler is unique may be the fact we’re a small school of 4400 with D1 athletics. Others may think about how our Jordan College of the Arts has a dance program that ranks in the top 5 ballet programs nationally, even though we’re in the heart of the midwest. Or that our placement rate is at an all time high of 97% of students in jobs related to their degree, graduate schools, or taking a gap year to travel or perform acts of services for communities abroad or nearby six months after graduation. These however are not why I chose Butler as my undergraduate institution, though they did help influence my decision. When I first toured Butler in the summer of 2016, there were three things that stood out to me.

The first, utmost important factor in choosing Butler was their commitment to excellent academic instruction.
