College Financial Aid Information

Senior families will be able to access the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on October 1. It is helpful to go to prior to that date to get your FSA ID. Based on priority deadlines from colleges and universities, it is helpful to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.

We are lucky to have the best resources available locally:
– INVestED is a local organization that provides free financial aid assistance to families.
– The University of Indianapolis is hosting a FAFSA completion night on October 8. Learn more and register here:
– College Goal Sunday is an event on November 6 that hosts families for FAFSA completion. More information is available here:

You can also call the college financial aid offices; they are always willing to help! The FAFSA help line is available at 1-800-433-3243 Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm.

As a reminder, is the most comprehensive resource for outside scholarships and you will want to contact each college and university to which you are applying to ensure you know the process for institutional scholarships and grants.
