- Monday, September 17; Dr. Cornell A. Bell Business Opportunity Program through the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. The Managing Director of the program will be presenting at Bishop Chatard during homeroom (11:00 am ). Eligible juniors and seniors were invited to attend. According to the program website, “We are looking for leaders, self-motivators, innovative and disciplined students to add to our historic legacy. If you have an interest in owning your own business, becoming a successful businesswoman or businessman, or even pursuing a career in law, medicine, or healthcare, BOP is for you!”
- Thursday, September 20; Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University (1:10 pm). Purdue Polytechnic programs combine innovative learning methods, real-world experiences and industry partnerships. When you graduate, you will be uniquely qualified for technology-driven careers, even those that haven’t been created yet. Please contact Mrs. Nixon to RSVP.
- Thursday, October 11; Marian University On-site Admissions Day. We will host representatives from Marian who will meet with students, review applications, and communicate same day admissions decisions. Please complete your Marian application through Common Application or the Marian University Online Application by October 8 and sign up for a time slot by October 9. Slots are limited; reserve now. - Monday, October 15; Marian University Klipsch Educators College. Dr. Leon Jackson, Director of Special Projects with the Fred S. Klipsch Educators College, will be providing a homeroom information session to students who are interested in changing the world and learning about one of the most innovative teacher preparation programs in Indiana and the nation.
