Student Training and Employment Program for Visually Impaired Students

Putting high school students who are blind or visually impaired on the road to employment, the Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) helps high school students who are blind or visually impaired explore various career paths, learn essential job skills and develop a portfolio. This beneficial skill building for students who are blind or visually impaired is the first step to gaining viable employment.
